From West to East

Make Habarana your home base and take in the some famous sights in the cultural triangle before heading to relax by one of the best beaches on the eastern coast. Tour includes accommodation, an English speaking guide/chauffeur, and 725 km of travel in a luxury a/c vehicle.

Price per person

Day 1

Take a luxury coach to Habarana and stay at the Cinnamon Lodge.

Day 2

You can pick your tour whether it’s to Anuradhapura or Polonnaruwa to see the ruins of some of Lanka’s first kingdoms or a religious visit to Mihinatale or Minneriya national park to witness the great elephant migration or the ancient architectural marvel that is Sigiriya.

Day 3

Take a leisurely drive to Trincomalee. If you’re lucky, you might see some elephants on the way. Spend the next few nights at Cinnamon Blu Hotel.

Day 4

Spend the morning snorkeling at Pigeon Island or relaxing at one of the region’s many beaches. Round out your trip with a visit to the Golden Temple, Koneswaran kovil or Fort Fedrick.

Day 5

Hop back on the coach to return home or take the morning to do some more exploring and catch an afternoon flight to Colombo.

Lunch - throughout the tour and any extra beverages or food/snacks consumed
Charges for spa treatments or other excursions not in the itinerary
Expenses of personal nature (Telephone calls, Laundry, snacks, etc.)
Any personal effects not mentioned in the itinerary
Entry tickets for tourist attractions.

Important factors

It is advisable to carry a cap or umbrella, sun protection cream & mosquito or any insect repellent (Personal effects Windy / Rainy / Warm weather conditions should be considered)
Carry ample water bottles (it’s advisable to consume bottled water though out the tour)
Avoid littering on roads, public areas, National parks, and Religious site (please keep it packed in a separate bag and hand over to the chauffeur to dispose or dispose at a designated place)
When visiting all religious sites, wearing long, fully covered clothing is strongly recommended. (Conservative clothing while entering the religious sites / Temple – Fully covered for females and legs covered for males)
Avoid taking photographs in restricted areas (please refer to the notice boards at sites)
Please wear suitable swim attire for indoor or outdoor swimming activities (sea bathing)
Never leave your belongings unattended
Usage of an insect repellant is advised
Please note there is a significant price difference for tickets to parks and historical sites for locals and foreigners. Please bring your NIC if you qualify for local tickets
